That depends on a few factors. If you like swimming pools, most of our condos have swimming pools. If you like yards to BBQ and for pets and children, consider renting a house. Larger groups are generally accommodated better in a house with multiple beds.
All of our properties permit cooking in their kitchens so your choice may be the layout of the building for entertaining. Proximity to the beach or not. All decisions you should make are based upon your own tastes. As you can see from looking at our website, there is a wide variety of properties available. Call us if you have questions.
Any time of course. That said, June and July are the busy season with the highest prices. The shoulder season is the best starting in March through May and September through November. These months have nice weather usually warm with lower humidity. Prices are lower during these months except for special events.

There are three basic ways to book on the Christies Gulf Beach Rentals site. Using VRBO or Airbnb or through the ChristiesGulfBeachRentals.com site. Of course, there are many subsidiaries of VRBO and Airbnb that accept bookings and pass them through those sites.
When you book with a site such as Airbnb, you are required to agree to terms and conditions. Some of these are from the vendor and others are from the host. In addition, our guests are required to agree to the terms and conditions provided in the Guest Information binder provided upon arrival.
If you book on the Christies site, you will have the opportunity to review the basic contract. If you book on third-party sites, the contract can be found in the Guest Information binder. Should you book on Airbnb or another third-party vendor site, you can request from us, a copy of our contract by using our contact form here:

Absolutely, for a reasonable fee, Christies can completely set up your new property to include:
Furniture – to maximize rentals
Kitchen – all implements
Furnishings – throw rugs, chairs and more
Decorating – create a theme, probably a beach theme
Exterior – decorating exterior, setting up fire pit, outside BBQ and arranging for lawn service
From start to finish the process can take as long as 60 days. This includes ordering products, assembly of furniture and decorating. If the property requires painting or maintenance to get ready, Christies can contract that out. This process may add more time to preparation.
Contact us if you are interested. The process is simple, you will be provided with a list of items to order and pay for or Christies can order them and pay from a deposit you make in advance. The entire project will be recorded on a spreadsheet with receipts provided. Christies does not mark up purchases, the one time fee includes our efforts to set up the property.

This is an easy one, we are local. The internet manager sits in an office many states away. What happens when?
- Police are called because of parking violations
- A hard freeze causes the water line to break (and the internet manager does not see it)
- The guest leaves the door standing open when they leave
- Neighbors are upset about noise (Neighbors can contact Christies)
- City requires a permit and the permit requires a local property manager
- Work has to be performed and the workers need access
- Christies manages the cleaning process
You can see from the list above, its an easy choice between Christies and those internet management companies.

Contact us if you have booked a stay and have learned of a hurricane that may affect the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
Most hurricanes never reach our coast in any signifiant form. Most hurricanes move in and out in the space of a day or two.
If the hurricane is significant e.g. category 3 or more there may be a voluntary or mandatory evacuation. If this happens, we will notify you that you should reschedule your trip. This is a rare occurrence, one that has not happened more than once in the past 10 years. We are concerned about your safety as well.
When you call, we can assess the possibility of the storm or hurricane having an affect on your trip. Most hurricanes bring rain for a day or two and high winds than pass through. Some hurricanes degrade before they meet land and wind up as a strong storm.
An example; A guest called on a Wednesday to ask about their stay beginning on Friday. A category 1 hurricane is scheduled to move through the area late Wednesday night and be gone by early Thursday morning. By Friday the forecast is clear skies and sunshine. In this case, if the guest is traveling on Thursday or Friday it would be ok to continue their plans.

A typical day on the Gulf Coast includes sunny skies and warmer weather than most of the nation. Our winters are mild compared to the northern states and Canada. With winter daytime temperatures in the 50’s and 60’s with occasional freezes in early morning thawing late mornings. The effects of high humidity and temperature a hallmark of summers in the South are mitigated in the fall and spring.
We do get rain and October is usually the driest month. Rain comes and goes quickly. It is unusual to have full days of rain as is the case in much of the country. It’s common to have rain in Gulfport and not in Biloxi next door. Rain from about April through September is warm and it is usually refreshing in the mid-summer.

It’s actually common for people to visit the Mississippi Gulf Coast on vacation and decide they want their own home here. If you are one of those people, we can help you. Christies Gulf Coast Rentals is affiliated with Logan & Anderson Gulf Coastal Realtors. We work together with property owners who wish to have their properties managed by us after buying with Logan & Anderson.
Check out their website where you can browse properties available all over the Gulf Coast. We suggest that before you start looking that you register on their site so that you can save your favorites and talk to our strategic partners at Logan & Anderson who are very familiar with vacation properties. You may want to consider purchasing a property on the Coast and using it for your vacations and while you are away renting it through it. That’s the best return on your investment.

You are also permitted to walk in public with an open container in Gulfport, Biloxi and Ocean Springs specified areas around their restaurants.
