You will love the Mississippi Aquarium located at 2100 E. Beach Blvd in Gulfport. The Aquarium will host many events during the year. You can attend some of the scheduled events such as the Croc Talk or the Otter Chat.
The Aquarium contains more than one million gallons of salt and freshwater sitting on 5.8 acres across from the beach and harbor.
Park in the CTA Hub across the street at 1401 20th Avenue. Military active duty and retired persons receive a 10% discount including family members with valid IDs.
If you find time after your visit, walk across the street and take a beach walk around the port. The tram from the Mississippi Aquarium to Jones Park is nearly complete. The tram takes you over Highway 90 to enjoy the park and harbor as part of your visit to the Mississippi Aquarium.
