This wonderful place is rich in history. Beauvoir is the last home of President Jefferson Davis. The home which is representative of the types of homes that at one time lined the Gulf Coast. In the mid 1800’s, wealthy people built large summer homes along the coast to escape the heat of the interior. This house is but one example of those former homes.

There are many things to see. Not only can you join a tour of the house but you can visit the extensive presidential library, and visit the veterans cemetery.
