The cottage is located in a quiet cottage community in the golf cart district of historic Ocean Springs. You’re within biking or minutes’ drive distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions like the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center, and the Ocean Springs Municipal Auditorium. The beach is just one mile away, and you can also easily reach the Bay of St. Louis and the Mississippi Sound

Sand Dollar

 

You need to stay at the Sand Dollar located steps from the beach.  You can see the water from the front balcony/deck.  This new, custom-built home offers all of the amenities you would expect from any good vacation/short-term rental property plus the proximity to the beach.  Three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, large open-concept living room are accented by front and rear balconies.

The Sand Dollar accommodates up to 8 people.  The master bedroom has a king-sized bed and an ensuite bathroom with a tiled shower and deep bathtub.  Dual sinks allow guests to prepare for the day without waiting.

This elevated house allows for lots of parking on the concrete driveway and under the house.  Plenty of parking for the eight guests that this property will accommodate.  The bedrooms include one queen bed in one room.  A queen bed in the second bedroom and the third bedroom have two bunk beds and two pull-out beds.

Everything you need is close by.  Two casinos are just a few minutes drive along with many restaurants located on Long Beach harbor and along U.S. 90 which is nearby.  You will be close to downtown Gulfport with its restaurants and the Aquarium.  Bay St. Louis, a trendy area for pubs and restaurants is just minutes to the West.  Spend a day in New Orleans just an hour away and come back to your comfortable house in the evening.

Least Tern Nest

Our newest addition in February 2022, this quaint cottage sleeps six within walking distance of the beach. Private entrance complete with kitchen, dining, living rooms, and bedroom. A comfortable queen bed is offered along with two xl twin bunk beds. The living room contains a queen sofa bed. Smart TVs in sleeping areas and living room. A washer, dryer, and laundry detergent are located on the property.

As our guests, you will benefit from Christies decorating touch. Our beach-themed properties are unique in the area. The Least Tern Nest like our other beach-close properties has been designed to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Guests will receive a code to use our electronic lock, a great way to ensure that all guests can gain access. The house has of course air conditioning and heating. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, and of course our coffee service. Pots, pans, and everything you need to prepare meals are available for you.

Our pecan trees grace the property and when the nuts are falling, you are welcome to help yourself.

The private yard is all yours and contains a fire pit and a BBQ ready for your enjoyment. The yard is fenced on three sides away from the street. Parking is available for three vehicles just outside the entrance door. Our property is freshly renovated with all new furniture and updated kitchen appliances.

While this is a brick house, you may be interested to know that it was built in 1880 and has gone through some changes since that time. Your accommodation will be located in one of two ground-level units that are part of a single building (a duplex). Each of the two units has its private entrance and a private yard.

This modern property is so close to the beach that there is no need to drive. Great restaurants are within a five-minute drive as are the Discovery Center and Centennial Plaza. The Mississippi Aquarium is ten minutes away. Several casinos offer not only great restaurants but also entertainment.

We named this property the Least Tern Nest after the Least Tern found on the beach near this property. These birds are protected and their nesting areas are fenced off on the beach to protect their eggs. This beautiful bird reflects what we offer at this property. FYI, this building was built in 1880, that’s 142 years ago. It’s as charming now as it was when it was built and the owners pulled up in their horse-drawn carriage.

PETS:  A small dog is permitted upon request and after payment of the pet fee.

Walk to the beach and restaurants. One queen and one full bed in bedroom 1 with full bathroom and two sinks, large closet. Bedrooms 2 and 3 each have a queen bed. A second full bath is located adjacent to bedrooms 2 and 3.  The living room sofa folds out as a queen bed.  No carpeting throughout, sand on the floor is no problem.

Tastefully decorated and stocked with all of the things you need to cook meals and enjoy your time away. The kitchen has a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and other appliances. Our fully equipped laundry room has a washer and dryer so you can bring fewer clothing items. Our gel/foam mattresses are comfortable and we provide both firm and standard pillows.

Bedrooms and living room equipped with fans and intelligent TVs. WIFI is available throughout the house. The Alexa video device will show you directions and information about local restaurants, venues, casinos, or anything you may ask it.

Cook your hamburgers on our bbq grill and use the fire pit for a family gathering in our spacious yard. This wonderful house is located on a cul-de-sac next to another property that we manage called the Salty Dolphin. If you book ahead you can book both properties for your large group. Plenty of parking for your guests in our large driveway. Parking adjacent for trailers.

Five restaurants are within walking distance including the world-famous Felix’s where you sit on the deck and enjoy the beach while eating local food and enjoying a cocktail or beer.

Salty Dolphin

Walk to the beach and restaurants. The entire house, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathroom cottage has beautiful furnishings throughout. One queen and one full bed are located in bedroom 1 which has a full bath with a double sink bathroom and a large closet. Bedroom 2 has one queen bed. Bedroom 3, “Crew’s Quarters” has four XL twin beds large enough for adults.

A second full bath is located adjacent to bedrooms 2 and 3.  The living room sofa folds out as a queen bed. Hard surface floors are easy to keep clean even when a little sand finds it way inside.  Tastefully decorated and stocked with everything you need to cook meals and enjoy your time away.

The kitchen includes a dishwasher, refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, and other appliances. Our fully equipped laundry room contains a washer and dryer so you can bring fewer items of clothing. Our foam mattresses are comfortable and both firm and standard pillows are provided for your comfort.

Beach towels are provided.

Sea Glass Inn

Stay with us at the Sea Glass Inn located in beautiful Pass Christian.  Walk to the beach from our remodeled and beautifully decorated house.   The Sea Glass Inn offers three separate bedrooms each designed to please our guests.

Bedroom one has a queen bed with another queen bed in bedroom two and a twin trundle bed in bedroom three.  Six guests can be accommodated in our four beds.  Plus, a queen blow-up bed can accommodate two more for a total of 8 guests.  Two full bathrooms are sufficient to accommodate a full house.

Cook your own meals in our fully equipped kitchen.  Everything you need to help prepare meals just like at home is here for your use.  Leave all of those clothes at home, and use our full-sized washer and dryer to launder your items.  We understand after a hard day at the beach, you may want to throw your bathing suits into the washer.

Of course, our large living room includes a flat-screen TV.  Bring your passwords with you to enjoy your TV subscriptions.  Our free wifi is connected to our smart TVs.  While the kids are busy watching TV, you can use the BBQ and char some steaks or shrimp.

Our fire pit will be a focal point for your guests during their stay.  The very large yard can accommodate games and permit your family to enjoy the space.  The property is surrounded by trees on three sides.

Did we mention taking a walk to the beach?  The beautiful beach consists of white sand groomed frequently.   No need for masks, there is plenty of space and the beaches are never crowded unless there is a parade.

Great restaurants can be found on U.S. 90, Beach Blvd in downtown Pass Christian and at the Pass Christian marina.  Of course, there are also 12 casinos on the Mississippi Gulf Coast where you can try your luck, enjoy live entertainment, and eat a great meal.

Fishing right on the beach, from our public piers, or rent a boat and go out by the islands for deep sea fishing.  Please check out our “Activities” page for more information.

Coastal Cottage

Our charming mid-century three-bedroom cottage located a short walk to the beach is perfect for 8 guests. The house is all yours during your stay. The yard is entirely fenced and gated, a safe place for your children to play.   The property was recently updated.  You can walk to the beach from our property.  There are two restaurants within walking distance.

You may use our beach cart to transport your towels and toys to the beach. Your children can play in our sandbox or try a game of horseshoes or bag toss.

Our remodeled kitchen is outfitted with everything you need to cook a family meal or warm up a snack. Prepare meals on granite countertops with a large farmer sink. Leave your large suitcases at home, and use our full-size washer and dryer to launder your clothing while you are enjoying the beach, Aquarium, or other sites.

Our living room is full of light from large windows, which open to the kitchen and dining area. A unique feature is two 48″ barn doors that open to the large bedroom. When the room is not occupied, the open doors create a larger living space and additional windows. The living room and bedrooms have ceiling fans.

The backyard bbq is perfect for an intimate cook-out. Try out our wood-burning fire pit, and roast some marshmallows. Three restaurants are within a short walking distance, and many more are just a few minutes drive away. Great neighborhood for walking, just two short blocks from the beach. We have made COVID times more tolerable by providing regulation horseshoes and cornhole bag toss pits.

Four beds are available. Our largest bedroom has one queen and a large closet. Bedroom two includes two full-size beds with a closet. Bedroom three has one queen bed and a large closet. Our property is advertised for eight people.  All beds can accommodate up to two persons each, it is possible to sleep up to eight comfortably.

Flat-screen TVs in each bedroom and one in the living room are all connected to high-speed internet with Netflix for your enjoyment. Guests can use WIFI to watch Netflix or check the WEB for a local restaurant. An Alexa (AMAZON) device with a screen can be used to communicate about the weather or anything else.

Free parking and pets are permitted upon request. Special events are permitted e.g. birthday parties etc. as long as guests inform our hosts during the booking process. We have another property on the same street that is better suited for large parties, it can accommodate up to 12 guests and the very large yard can accommodate about 100 guests with tents. It may be possible to stay at this property and use the yard at our other property or some combination. Please contact our hosts for more information.

Wheelchair access: We can provide a ramp to enter the home upon advance request. There is one step to the front porch, the 36″ wide entrance door should accommodate a wheelchair.  The large bedroom with a queen bed is accessed through an 8′ opening from the living room.

The kitchen is accessible as well by wheelchair. A wheelchair-bound individual will need assistance in the bathroom as the distance between the sink and the wall is narrow. The toilet is of regular height. The backyard can be accessed using the ramp in front of the house and then going through the gate.

A pet may be permitted.  You must receive approval first and pay the pet fee.  If your pet is allowed, you agree to compensate the hosts for any costs to repair or remediate any damage caused by your pet.   You will be responsible for removing pet hair.

Gulf View Haven

You will love our townhome.  Not only will it sleep your entire large group but one of the best restaurants on the coast is just across the street featuring New Orleans cooking and cocktails on the veranda.  Our keyless entry will help large parties since there is no need for a key.  Enter on the equivalent of a second-floor (this property is close to the beach is elevated).

Our large deck overlooks the beach and Gulf of Mexico.  Enter into the living room with seating around a large flat screen tv.  A private bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and furniture plus a walk-in closet.  This bedroom shares a bath with guests.  The second floor contains two bedrooms each with two full/double beds and a shared bathroom with a large spa tub.

Tucked away in one of the rooms is a twin xl bed in its cubby.  The sofa sleeper in the living room is perfect for two.  In total, our townhome will sleep up to 13.

A fully stocked kitchen permits our guests to cook meals if they choose to stay in.  Equipped with electric stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, and even coffee service at the bar.

You can park your car under the building out of the elements and additional parking is available in our private lot.  This property is one of four townhome units in a single building.  Each unit including this one has its private entrance.  Perfect for the COVID environment.

Our beaches are fully open, most restaurants are open inside and outside.  Casinos are open as well.   There are so many things to do on the Gulf Coast, we can’t list them here.  Check out our site for more information about what to do.

The map below gives you an approximate location of this and our other properties.  Arrival to this property can be by Air to Gulfport Airport or New Orleans Airport.  You can drive from anywhere, the property is a short distance from I10 and is located almost on U.S. Highway 90 in Gulfport.

Peaceful Bayou

You have arrived.  The Peaceful Bayou located in Pass Christian on the Mississippi Gulf Coast is a breath of fresh air literally.   Access to the bayou for canoeing or boating.  This beautifully single-family house is elevated which helps to provide excellent views of the bayou and beautiful trees.  The bayou at the doorstep will take you into St. Louis Bay and then to the Gulf of Mexico.  Rent a boat, canoe, or kayak and enjoy the water life.

The downstairs bedroom contains a king bed.  The bedroom is beautifully appointed with dressers and a closet.  Windows provides great lighting.  The second and third bedrooms are located on the second floor.  One bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has two twin beds.  The bedrooms are beautiful.

A full bathroom with a shower in a tub is located on the first floor.  A full bath with a shower in a tub is located on the second floor.  Attractive show curtains match the decor.

Our living room is well appointed with a queen sofa sleeper and flat-screen TV.  The kitchen is open plan permitting you to talk with your guests at the dining room table or living room while you are preparing your meal.

Bring only what you need for a day or two.  Full full-sized washer and dryer will help you wash your beach towels and bathing suits along with other clothing.

We have two decks, one is completely screened in and overlooks the bayou the other is outside of the kitchen door also with a great view of the bayou.  A table and chairs are available for you under the house.  Plenty of room to park your cars on the driveway.  The Peaceful Bayou is located in a cul-de-sac off of the main road so it’s quiet.

The Peaceful Bayou is available for rental for 30 days or longer.  We expect to offer this great property for shorter-term rentals such as weekends soon.  Check with us if you are interested in a shorter-term rental.

Sea Turtle Cove

Our Sea Turtle Cove property is located within a short walk to the beach.  Our house features two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a living room, and a kitchen/dining room.  Two full-sized beds are in one bedroom and bunk beds (twin xl) are in the other bedroom.  The sofa sleeper in the living room folds out to a queen-sized bed.  We believe that up to eight people can be accommodated.

Our large fenced yard has a fire pit and BBQ for your enjoyment.  Free parking for three cars near the entrance should accommodate your guest’s needs.  This building is a duplex with a private entrance in the front.  The other unit has its private entrance in the back of the building and that unit has its private yard.

Some guests may need more space so it’s possible to book both the Sea Turtle Cove and the Least Tern Nest at the same time if they are both available.  Please look at the Least Tern Nest page as well.

The fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, and stove is available for those times when you decide to eat in.  Make use of the outside BBQ as well as the picnic bench and chairs to enjoy meals outside.

A bathroom with a shower is located on the ground floor.   The bedrooms are upstairs where there is another bathroom with a shower.  The property has hard surface floors throughout to accommodate guests who return from the beach.  The entrance door is operated by a wifi lock so no keys are required.  Both front and rear entrances have motion detection lights for your convenience.

Take advantage of your location by walking to the beach or the Centennial Plaza with its restaurants.  A short drive will put you within reach of many restaurants and casinos along with other venues.  Please read some of our blog articles about the area.

You can book on this site and save the big charge from 3rd party sites.  Please contact us if you have special needs.  This property is not handicapped-friendly as it has second-floor bedrooms.  The neighboring Least Tern Nest is all ground floor.
