SEVERE WEATHER – HURRICANES

The Mississippi Gulf Coast can experience severe weather from June through October. Hurricanes and tropical storms are the most common form of severe weather. Hurricanes are natural events. We strongly encourage guests to book their trip at least two weeks ahead of their trip so they can qualify for vacation insurance. Book on this site and receive travel insurance at no additional charge that can cover a named storm as long as you meet the policy requirements. If you book through Airbnb or VRBO you can still purchase vacation travel insurance from Christies as long as you buy it well in advance of your stay to be sure you are covered in the event of a hurricane. Most storms and hurricanes bypass our area and the ones that come through usually consist of heavy rain and increased winds. The storms usually pass through in a day or two.

Guest Policies/Terms of Service Contract

All guests booking at ChristiesGulfBeachRentals.com must agree to the Guest Policies and our terms of service. Guests booking on third-party sites such as Airbnb agree to the policies of that platform and the Guest Policies above.

Security and Fraud Policy

All guests booking on ChristiesGulfBeachRentals.com must submit a photo of their current driver's license prior to receiving the door code and directions to the property. This is for our guests' security, we must know who is staying at our properties. The photo must match the booking information provided.

Smoking is prohibited inside of all properties

Some properties may allow outside smoking away from exterior doors and windows. Vaping is considered smoking which is also prohibited. Guests must agree to this policy as part of the registration. Some guests are allergic to smoke.
