The photo above shows that the stay, two nights is gong to be $595.47. This appears to be $297.35 per night or without taxes included $255 per night. This is correct but it’s important to understand how this ultimate price is arrived at. The guest must click on the highlighted #1 Beach n’ Bungalow to see the breakdown.
You can clearly see that the actual price is $185.00 per night before taxes, credit card service fee, service fee and cleaning fee. All platforms breakdown their pricing in a similar manner. While the total cost that the guest is paying exceeds the $185.00 per night listed, the cost of booking on Christies Gulf Beach Rentals is lower than if they had booked through VRBO or AirBnb.
Also, and this is important, Christies does not retain 3% of the income as does Airbnb and VRBO. In addition, the guest receives free vacation travel insurance.
