The National Park Service offers six facilities to visit along the Mississippi Gulf Coast. See alligators, turtles, sea birds, and other creatures of the Gulf Coast. Most of the facilities are isolated islands offshore. You are permitted to visit the islands. The Davis Bayou area is drivable from anywhere on the Gulf Coast. The entrance is across from the Ocean Springs Hospital. These treasures are unique and you should take the time to see one or more of them.

Cat Island – This requires a boat to reach and is located South of Bay St. Louis

Davis Bayou Area – A beautiful area to walk and explore. This facility is located in Ocean Springs

Horn Island – A fun spot for holiday weekends. This is where the locals go to have fun.

Ship Island – We discussed this under Fort Massachusetts, just offshore lots to do.

West Petit Bols Island – Rent a boat and cruise this and Petit Bois Island off the coast to the extreme East of the Gulf Coast.
